Mimimiguel Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 (edited) hello! well, I have sreached over the whole web and I still can't make my mysql database work for mta, I have xampp installed, with the apache and the mysql servers running and the mta module loaded. so I don't know what to do, have I to insert anything in the meta.xml file or something like that? thanks EDIT: also configured the mtaserver.conf DEBUGSCRIPT ->error: attempt to call global 'mysql_connect' (a nil value) attempt to call global 'mysql_query' (a nil value) x2 Edited April 25, 2011 by Guest Link to comment

bandi94 Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 search on youtube mta serer tutorial are 1000 of tutorials the hardes part is if you have a router you need to port forward your modem and router if you don"t have a router port forward only the modem (not need in every case) you don't need mysql database its only hardes to work whit mysql database you can test your router and modem port when you start the mta server in the black (like a cmd) window write openports and after 30 sec you will see 3 ports and need to write port... open if are closed other players cant connect to your serer another port cant download and 3 port cant browse your server on server browser (they will not see your server) Link to comment
