SA:MP Mapping in MTA Editor.

Ok, ok, ok. First thing's first, since I have been playing SA:MP for a number of years, I am well aware of the animosity between MTA users and SA:MP users. That being said, I am here in search of help.

As some of you may or may not know, many SA:MP scripters use MTA's editor for mapping, recently, SA:MP has added the ability to add 3D Modelled objects into SA:MP, new objects, etc. The problem is nobody can map with them in MTA Editor, because they are totally new objects.

So, I am here off my own back, to try and find somebody to help me, and the whole SA:MP community, find a solution for this and since I have heard (for a great number of years) that the MTA community is much better than the .. "younger" community over at SA:MP, I am hoping somebody will help.

Kind regards.

The solution is to play Multi Theft Auto. It has supported any dff/txd file you like since 1.0. There's no reason we'd help you play a competing mod, that, as you say, we have a certain justified animosity towards.

Multi Theft Auto does everything that SAMP does and far more - and it has better sync. Plus we're open source and far more friendly.

More and more players are playing MTA every week - join them.

as eAi said, come play mta, its way more smooth then sa:mp and got lots of extra functions/bugfixes.

besides from that, using the mta map editor for sa:mp is just a crime to anyone here, especially people who putted so much work into the map editor, and those sa:mp idiots try to steal it and use it for evil!(sa:mp)

Nuf said, dont come bother here anymore if you're just one of those people i mentioned before.

*off topic* hmm i've been writing pretty much negative messages on the board this evening....must be the cold here, always pisses me off.

Just.... just skip this..

Thanks for the replies, I have tried playing MTA in the past but my PC was useless. I've just got a new laptop so the case may well be different (It is..).

Uhhmm.. I would've joined MTA a long time ago, but I have 0 knowledge of Lua, lol.

I've just downloaded MTA, and joined a server (after a long wait..) and I've got to say, it's pretty fucking awesome.. haven't got time to play at the minute, just spent a good 20 minutes on a server though and It's definitely sparked my interest!

Kind Regards.

Glad you're having a good time with it. Let us know in the scripting forum if you've got any problems with lua - you'll find it very easy to learn if you know any other programming language. It's about as simple as they come.
