The next release will probably be better. -There is currently the only game MODE as deathmatch This might change in the next version though. -As far as I know there are no gangs. But get the game anyways. The single player is worth it anyways.

Lag isnt really an issue, I am UK dialup and play on US servers without it disrupting proceedings too much. 0.2 will have new netcode to reduce it further. MTA Gangs have existed long before the latest version was released. Did you not notice the gang forum?
