lilswizy Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I think MTA is lacking in Gamemode originality by that i mean there is like 5 DM servers which have about 0-5 players? I my self only seen one server with just DM not DD/DM.A lot of RP and DD servers... I got bored in like 1 day because there is not enough servers to have fun on. RP? thats boring as hell as a citizen u just have to run around. Freeroam?They get boring after a while of just driving around. Zombie?Fun and its the only GM that doesnt get really boring... I have some ideas for a GM if someone is willing to script and i can map.Here is some of my ideas: A War GM with Custom Small/Big Maps with NPCs helping too which fight. Ill add more GMs here im just thinking
dzek (varez) Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 If you only get some ideas - i think you dont find anybody to script whole gamemode for you. and as for currently available gamemodes - for me freeroam is fun (when you have something more than empty freeroam server - but for example i dont like servers like dkr freeroam), zombie gm is boring as hell after 1-2 minutes, rp - never tried, etc. it depends on your own likes and dislikes. lilswizy Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 Well i dont even know what u can do on freeroam? Fly like a super man its gets boring becuase your usually on your own... Someone should create a DM server or a TDM that would be really good and will probably get a lot of players..
Castillo Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 there are many servers where you can get friends, like SANL:RPG i just started to play it and become really fun, there is also Mini-Missions is a good DM server where you can play lot of different missions, also i think that the RPG (not real life style) are the best San Andreas Utopia RPG (SAUR) Owner & Developer. 12p Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I'm developing 2 originals gamemodes. 1 of them is a MOD-based gamemode, inspirated in Silent Hill series. I'm trying to make the first storyline-based server, like if you're playing a real Silent Hill. The other one is a combination of Deathmatch + Freeroam + RPG (few RPG elements, of course) + Extras. I'm bored of those RP, Stealth, DM, and (ejem) n**bs servers that only copy the resource and don't do a sh*t

Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Unfortunately most of the good, creative gamemodes go through server or scripter/financial problems and the scripts are never released/traded/sold. The nooby servers only seem to be up alot because the scripter and admins are under little stress and the amount of slots needed is very low, so either they're barely putting forth any effort to keep them up and paying very little to have it hosted or they're running it from home and getting it free while still not giving any effort other than a couple custom car mods. You can do anything on it when you want, just a bit of a creative mind and you can do anything you like. In my server, a little bit of RP is always used. One of my members have even made a prison to rp with (Nicely done too) and other times we do routed races with a few players.
