Mini
Is it even possible to mess with the stop lights in GTA? They are just weird... It seems like they are almost random. I don't know. Discuss it... Edit: If this is even possible. It is a suggestion. Link to comment
dzek (varez)
Traffic lights will be synchronized and available to control in MTA 1.1 version. There's already few functions on wiki For example (check see also too): https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/GetTrafficLightState Link to comment
Mini
That's awesome... I just switched from SA-MP to MTA... So, I'm still learning about the amazing features. Link to comment
dzek (varez)
Yeaa, that was a good idea Features list is amazing, you can do a lot with mta scripting. MTA main page shows much about it Link to comment
Mini
Yeah, but the problem is, learning Lua. Link to comment
Xierra
Wise choice! MTA SA is better than SA-MP until you see what it can do. Just see some of the scripts & gamemodes over here: http://www.community.multitheftauto.com and look at resources. @Mini: Of course learning to script with lua language is for scripters. Don't worry, it won't be hard to learn. It's even easier than PAWN language which is used in SA-MP. Link to comment
vovo4ka
Yeah, but the problem is, learning Lua. It is not a problem. I fell in love with Lua very quickly. Link to comment
Mini
It just looks extremely confusing, especially since the files are like divided. Link to comment
Gamesnert
It just looks extremely confusing, especially since the files are like divided. You don't háve to divide files. Files are divided so it's easier to find particular pieces of code, but you don't have to divide scripts. Just if you want to have both server-side AND client-side, then you'll need 1 script for server-side, and 1 for client-side. But except for that, it's only for convenience. Link to comment
Spider Pork
Another player for MTA, one less for SA-MP LUA is way easier than PAWN, trust me. It took me only a week or two to learn it and it's actually fun. Link to comment
