ekin113 Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 I just resently baught gta III for pc but i need sum new service update or sumthin to see the text and my health and stuff.....I tryed gta3.net but file was curupted...could sum1 tell me a site or give me a link plz!!
raiden Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 Hmm, you must be running Windows XP. Try searching google.com for the GTA3 Blocky Text Patch, or something similar to it.

Guest Posted August 19, 2003 Posted August 19, 2003 Mr. Bump is right. you will need the windows update patch or something. it happend to me and whwn I got it It was fixd. and no when you get Vice City retail it should work fine so No you will not need any special patches
SeBsZ Posted August 19, 2003 Posted August 19, 2003 It says everywhere you need to download Microsoft Service Pack 1 for Windows XP. That solves the blocky text where you are unable to read what they say...
