DJ_SPotlight
hey guys! i am not sure if i put that question in the right forum, but i hope so! If not, sorry! Well, at the moment i am building a new stuntmap inside the mapeditor in multiplayermode with my friend. up to now nearly everything is fine. serveral days ago i read somewhere, that it would be possibleto connect two different maps with each other, but thats my problem at the moment: i dunno how i could do that! our mainmap is build in los santos/ airport san fierro/ desert las venturas. now i want to connect this map with another one which was build in san fiero harbour under the big red bridge to the las venturas-island. in that text i have read (but i forgot where i found it), there was written, that connecting two different maps would be possible as long as they were not modded at the same ingame-places, which they aren't. Can someone help me with this? E.G.: i hope you understood what i meant!? otherwise i try to explain it in different words! thanx for help! greetz the DJ Link to comment
Faw[Ful]
lol ! Easy, just open your .map file with notepad or something like that and copy paste what you see in one of the .map file in your other .map file and its done !!! .map file is your map, because an MTA map name finish with .map like a song finish with .mp3 Link to comment
Dark Dragon
you can simply start both maps, having them sorted is probably a good idea. If it's a server which doesn't really use the gamemode system I see no reason to combine 2 maps into one. also if you want them to be part of the same resource you can also just define multiple .map files in the meta. both of the above ways are probably a better choice than having 1 big .map file.
