[PREV] Awesome Race HUD [PS]

Hey All!

We have been all hard at work, from designing to scripting to make this awesome HUD for the race gamemode.

Well, its almost done, just the Map record and the Personal record remaining. 60% Done.

Project Members:

[PS]Dazzajay[AU] - Responsible for the ideas and everything related to graphics.

Benji - Responsible for the awesome speedo.

[PS]CH35TY[AU]- Responsible for all the nice guages around the speedometer.

If you want me to be honest then I'll say it takes way TOO MUCH space of screen. At first it was very hard to figure out what time is what - so many digits next to each other. I like games with as minimal HUD as possible but show it only when it's required (like when player finishes a lap or race or reaches a checkpoint).

I suppose they created an image for every digit and render the image of the specific digit. I'm working on a patch to add custom fonts function for MTA but I doubt it'll be added to MTA, like most of my patches lol

Ahh good job, I was finding for the digital-7 font PNG and there it is! Thanks 50p once again, I'll script this later.

Yeah, that HUD was awesome! I hope he releases it soon.

For me it was like the HUD used in PSP version of Gran Turismo, like:

But this one covers a lot more space than that. That's the downside of the HUD like 50p said.

Anyway, I need to change those unicode into a png picture, but the ones over there is not one by one, but instead all in one big png file.

I want a 0-9 and nicely done digital writing. maybe you could give me a link to the digital number png pack, or you could show me another way?

You just download the font and create a text in Photoshop or any other photo editing software that lets you save .png's and create text. Or download the image and crop the numbers one by one. Or you join his server, download the images and use them lol

Ahh ok, I just request the number PNG (white) and that's all, instead of stealing the whole script!
