Lagging help

DOOMie

Question

Posted

Hey guys, i'm in need of help. I usually don't lag it's just it seems I only lag on really condensed and crowded maps. I would like to ask for some tips, tricks, or even programs to help lag.

I USED gamebooster from IObit but it won't work anymore (fuck you invalid files :x ) so I can't now. My fps is usually 30+ (only up to 36 usually) but when we're in crowded maps it can drop down to 23- :? .

So can I ask fo some help from fellow mta players.

-anti lag programs

*i.e- gta graphics downgraders etc, etc.

-turning down certain specs on gta

-or even like some things to do with processes

Thanks and I hope to get some answers soon

If you struggle this much with your FPS, maybe your hardware just sucks.. (what are your specs?)

If it were me, I'd either just buy a better computer that can actually handle a game that's by now half a decade old, or you could try FLOORING anything you can reach in the settings, making sure your PC isn't running background stuff that saps your "power" (Vista and/or malware, mostly..) as a last measure you can try starting MTA, opening task manager and setting your process priority higher.

Do NOT PM ME for help unless invited. - New MTA Script Editor

Scripting help "etiquette": understandable language, relevant code (ALL code if unsure), [Lua] tags, error messages with line numbers. Super simple stuff.

Here is a couple of mods/tools that can help you improve FPS

LowRes 1.1 > http://uploaded.to/file/azzi17

GTAShrinker > http://uploaded.to/file/gdfqck

San Andreas Performance Tool > http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=2929

Ruckelfreier > http://gtaplanet.de/downloads/file/gta_ ... /4101.html

and this...but sadly it doesnt work for MTA but i will post it here anyway

StreamMem Fix [Lag Reducer/HD Mods Fixer]

Also you should close 'explorer.exe' in Task Manager before playing MTA

These mods/tools get rid of useless effects like heat haze/dust/smoke/clouds and reducing quality with the rest. Yes closing explorer.exe will remove everything on desktop but also note that it takes up a lot of resources, which do absolutely nothing while ur playing so close it.

Last link works for me, what browser your using ?
