Map Editor Freeze Problems

Lately I have been experiencing game and mouse freezes during my time using the Map Editor of MTA(it says "Program does not respond" in my Task Manager). I'm currently mapping a city project of mine, so I guess the reason is to many/big objects, or something like that, though, I'm not the one with the knowledge here so I guess I'm wrong. It's weird, because there's only around 200 objects in the .map at the moment. I've looked this problem up at Google and here, but I've not found anyone else having problems with the Map Editor. If there's anything obvious I should have read, I am sorry.

I've heard about the Alt+Delete and open the game again-methode(Vista), but that doesn't work for me(Windows XP), due to the game itself is not responding. I also tried waiting it out, but that didn't work neither.

I hope someone sits with a solution for this problem.

Edit: This mostly happens when I'm located at the map, not elsewhere.

As in on the map? Well, I think it's inside the map(takes like 20 sec to fly with a Hydra from the city to LS). If so, is there a recommended tool that can make me move all the objects above Los Santos, in one go?

btw.: i got the same problem and i've already tried to move my map with this script, but it seems like it doesnt work on 1.0, so you may try this on mta: sa dp2.3.

Ahh, thanks alot. I'll definately try that, and if it wont work, I'll try with the other version.
