I'm trying to get my friend to connect to a map editor with me, can someome explain how to do it we tried hamachi bt he coundn't find my server

hi,

when you want to use the map editor with someone else i recommend you not to use the "Map Editor" button but start the mtaserver.exe type "start editor" there (without quotes) and then connect via quick connect (ip for you: localhost (yeah just type this in) port: 22003 (default value) and for your friend the ip which he sees in hamachi)

There is a problem with the latest version of hamachi where you wont see the server in the list, try downgrading to 1.0.1.5 as this was the last version where this problem did not exist. Also when searching for your hamachi server make sure that you use the 'LAN' tab in the in-game server browser.
