I was wondering if it is possible to have both MTA San Andreas and MTA Race installed. I much prefer MTA Race's map editor, but I play on Valhalla, making it a little bit difficult to decide which one to keep.

Just install the 2 versions in 2 different folders. What OS do you have?

Windows XP Home. I guess I must have done something wrong the first time I tried it

Race is compatible with XP so you should be fine though I'd suggest using 1.0 since most of the race community has migrated.
