Guest Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 This weekend I think I'll do a piece of artwork for MTA, which most likely they won't use or even look at, but are there any suggestions for what it should be? Obviously it'll be an identicle mimic to the gta3 poster style, which means that it'll have two characters max. How should they interact in order to best represent the multiplayer nature of this mod? Suggestions? I'll listen to everything!

Try making a poster with an Infernus with the player-skin type guy inside heading away from the viewpoint/camera/whatever with fire coming from the tires Back to the Future style with some sort of gang car jumping from the left over the Infernus with a gang member driving and a gang member standing on top with a gun of some sort shooting at the Infernus. Make sure to have the player-skin-looking guy shooting a uzi out of the window back at the Infernus. Then add other details such as a sniper in a window and a guy diving Max Payne style out of the way of a red Banshee (which is trying to run him over) while shooting at the Banshee. Be sure to have the Banshee driver carrying a gun and shooting it at the diving guy. Then misc. other stuff such as a guy firing a rocket launcher with the rocket in mid-air and various explosions, a car on fire with a guy bailing out, etc. EDIT: Oh wait I forgot it was supposed to have two players. Maybe you could use my design for a 0.3 poster?
mavrick_uk Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 well how about like 6 people all in the same clothes with the weapons, from a low angle persepctive as if being dropped down, and they have to be screaming in there face..i think that would be cool
Slothman Posted April 1, 2003 Posted April 1, 2003 how bout a shot like "the fugitive" poster, except with a guy running from a car with another guy leaning out with an uzi? as an artist, shouldn't you decide for yourself? i mean, would you feel comfortable using someone elses idea?
