Guest Posted November 15, 2008 Share Posted November 15, 2008 Hey guys i don't know how to script why? because i can't find a program like a scripting program is there such thing? because im so anxious to learn about scaling taking a object and super sizing it but i don't know how to do it? or script and other things i wonted to do. arc_ Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 Sorry, but to be honest the goliath in that screenshot is not an actual player . One of the QA members extracted the ped model and made it into a new object, then placed that object ingame and made it larger (with setObjectScale indeed). So it's just a stationary model, it didn't even have a collision mesh. You can get the server on the download page. Once you've installed it you probably want to look at the server manual to set it up. Scripts go in what MTA calls "resources", you can read more about those here. Good luck! (Also, DP3 will have a "host game" button which will instantly start an integrated server. That will save you the installing and configuration. For now you have to do it yourself though.)
