I think a better question for this is weather the planes and helicopters will be controlled with the same amount of handling, etc, as the original PC game.

Will it be harder to control? More stiff? Not as many verticies to turn on? If thats the case, the helicopters will be crashing into everything

the handling configs should be the same. Handling may be harder as the lag wont do any favours.
