TheDeepFriedBoot Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Hello. With MTA:Race and San Andreas, I was able to run them on a portable harddrive on multiple computers. With the new DM version, it will not allow me to do this because MTA creates a serial in the registry on the computer for which it is installed. Is there a way to bypass this so DM will not save anything in the registry?
eAi Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Race used the registry to know where to run GTA from. The serial is optional, though some servers may require it.

When you play on a "new" computer, you just should have to double-click it to add it to the registry. Should work if there wasn´t any hard-drive related like in MTA-Race.
