Quest
I looked at the Wiki for CreateRadarAreas and I took that script, just to experiment. I made the area a little larger. When i connect I walk into the circle, it flashes but then I crash. No warnings or errors in my Server. Anyone else have this issue or is the map area too large? Or could I have made a common mistake? Thanks Link to comment
eAi
Can you produce a resource that reproduces this and send it to us. You shouldn't be able to crash either the client or server with a script, so any resources that can do are useful. Link to comment
[email protected]
In response to eAi: I had some trouble with the set() function to store data in the settings register, making the server crash (posted in bugs). I uploaded a very brief script that does exactly this, to reproduce the problem. Simply load it into the server (works fine) and start it (= crash) link: http://www.colips.nl/files/setregistercrash.zip Link to comment
eAi
I think we're aware of this issue, it's reported as issue 3152 (watch the changelog to see if it's fixed). It's reported as happening when settings don't already exist and set is used to change them. Link to comment
