me Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 ASE is All Seeing Eye. It's a server browser. If you have no clue what that is, read on... A server browser allows you to see information about a server before you join it, such as # of players, game type, map, etc. If we didn't use a server browser, then you'd have to get IPs (like 255.156.62.267). You wouldn't know a thing about the game you're joining.

At the top there is a button that says FAQ. This means Frequently Asked Questions. Its in there, I know because I was there when it was being made.
