Guest Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Hey, We have a MTA: SA DeathMeatch server installed on Fedora Core, but every player who is joining the game gets a black screen with "Connected to bla bla bla [Linux]" and later they are timed out.. Is this a bug with the server files? Or is it just or configuration? Paul
tomozj Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Configuration -- you need to load a gamemode, and a map to go with it. Load the "fr" mode, which is freeroam, and the map "broph" to go with it. If need be, type "/changemode fr broph" when logged in as an administrator. If this fails to work, then it might be some kind of bug -- however I'm getting the black screen only when there's no mode or map loaded.

Tommis Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Hey, Seems like if you set a MTU size, this will happen. Someone will join, get black screen then about 3-5 seconds later time out. (This is with DP2) Cya, Tommis
