Connection issue.... an odd one.

i have tried connecting to many servers, and i have gotten in to some... but most i get the same problem with.

i connect, i get in far enough to see the chat window in the top left, and the Deathmatch Preview box in the bottom right, i notice that i am using bandwidth in both directions, but it just sits there at black screen.

almost every server does it.

i managed to get into a server, the map vote appeared, i voted, when it went to load the map, it just sat there at black screen with Chat box at top left. (same symptom as my on connect issue)

any ideas?

the black screen is the default screen, the game mode that is running (if there is one running) should remove that (basically just a faded camera) if it connects to the server, there isn't a connection issue, possibly just no game mode running

My mate has the same problem. Exactly. But there are definetly gamemodes running.....I am always waiting for him at these servers. What could this be?

Ugh. i am also reciving the problem on my own test server.

what recources do i need to have a race test server?
