Guest Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 What's happened to mta.mictech.org? I can't find it. It had the fucking best maps ever
0 Strepto Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Mictech was updating the kernel and accidently pushed a cable into the CPU fan, so the comp crashed during update, thus ruining the filesystem. It'll be up and running again soon enough.
0 Towncivilian Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Uhhhh, pushing a cable into the CPU fan wouldn't do anything except stop the fan (and increase the temperature slightly), how would that cause the system to crash? Unless the fan was stopped for an extended period of time and the CPU overheated and the system shut down.

0 Strepto Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Unless the fan was stopped for an extended period of time and the CPU overheated and the system shut down. Bingo...
0 Towncivilian Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Bleh, nice bump. Something tells me that if the site isn't up by now, it probably isn't going to be up again.
