RA
This could be an optional feature to help a server self-regulate spammers. Text messages and voice (if implemented) would be limited based on the number of kills or score of the player. Each player would start with a configurable base amount - like 10 text messages and 10 seconds of voice. Each additional kill/point would increase the allowed messages by a configurable amount, like 2 text messages and 4 seconds. Teamkills would subtract that much. Once a player got down to zero, they would not be allowed to send messages until they scored again, reconnect, or the map restarts. Link to comment
MrJax
I don't think that's a good idea, but you will be able to create this through scripting if you wish. Link to comment
Guest
BAD idea. I imagine this being horribly frustrating. Link to comment
AlienX
Why not just make a script that times when the last chat message by that player was sent, and if it was sent in that time, block it and tell the player its done ^^ All doable via scripting! Link to comment
