after downgrading my 2.0, i cant play saved games(i searched

i downgraded my 2.0 using the patch... i did this so i could play multiplayer, however when i go back to play single player all my saved gaves come up as "saved game corrupted" i go to my documents and they are there. Im guessing this is because im at 1.0 and the saved games are from 2.0. I haven't reinstalled which im going to do later on today after work. I figured others have ran into this problem but i can't find any posts explaining this. did the patch ruin my saved files from 2.0? or will i be able to save my user files to a different directory, uninstall my 2.0 patched game and reinstall 2.0 unpatched w/ the saved games...i was all the way up to the las venturas missions, bike school and i really don't want to start over... im tight over this

yeah i suppose that sucks for you...dont think you can rewind your saves like with the version

That should work, you should have made a backup of your old 2.0 gta-sa.exe, then you could have just replaced your patched .exe with it to play single player.

im going to try loading those saved files... i just want to have the game the way i had everything you kno?

as far as having a back up... i made back ups after i patched everything... so the original files are changed because of that?

erm...well im not exactly sure about that...never done it...try and install on ur second assuming your first is where your original install is

can't do it, when i open up my dvd the only option there is to "uninstall" unless there is a way around i don't know what to do

go into the cd and find the shortcut or executable that directly starts the install...perhaps...otherwise i dunno what to do

you could just copy your gtasa folder to elsewhere and it works, so downgrade one of them and the other is for SP
