Towlies Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Sorry to say but I am also getting this problem....All the anti cheat options are enabled so its not caused from that. The message clearly states 404 - Not Found....Like it is trying to connect to the anticheat file server and its not there.

Jani Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 It's possibly a problem with the master server then. Either ways, I don't believe the anti-cheat definitions have actually ever been updated, so you're not losing out on anything.

I was having the same problem as you guys, when i decided to keep on the anticheat and turned off the updater, and when i started the server it said: WARNING: 'Loading anticheat.def' Failed! Anticheat is disabled. So it may or may not be the updater that is causing a seperate problem, it is the loading of the anticheat.def file that is causing the main problem, I then searched my PC for the file, and guess what, it doesnt exist... does anyone want to upload the original file and post a link??? Please... (it would be nice if you could tell us all which folder it goes in too).
x16 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Anticheat isnt really needed as the server can carefully pick out those who have modded there handling.cfg or if you have major lag it will kick for suspected cheating.
