Jani
Maybe because you looked in the wrong section. This is the help area for MTA:SA, not MTA 0.5 Try this: http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=11098 Link to comment

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE HELL I NEED TO DO TO PLAY THIS??? Ok first, what are you trying to play? GTA:3 ? GTA:VC ? or GTA:SA ? GTA:3 and GTA:VC both use MTA 0.5 but GTA:SA uses a seperate program than the rest. Whatever game you are trying to play, make sure you have it installed first, some people think MTA is the entire game. Maybe you know all this already and its just that your computer is being an ass. erorr404
Moved to the proper section. Do you have mods installed on your game? Link to comment
zerb
Play single player first before installing the MTA modification, this can sometimes prevent certain errors. Do the first mission for example and then download MTA, if you havent already tried this. Link to comment
B@TM@N
Look where you installed MTA - open mta.ini file, add this.. DontGetLatest=1 Also, remeber to close everything before you run the client. Link to comment
