Anyways, I hate the cop AI - there's no real feel of a police chase, more of just a driving around and cops spawning near you. So: I was thinking, 1 player in a fast car who can't see the cops on the map and then 3 (or more) players in police cars or police bikes have to trace him down and kill him. This way you get the benefit of having to get away from real people, rather than sh**ty AI. The Player's car would be slightly faster, but the Police would be able to see him and have the numbers. You could have it so the criminal's position is updated every 2 minutes, so the cops don't know exactly where he is. Also, if the cops can see other cops on the map you could have a player in a chopper that can follow him around so that cops know where he is, just like in real life. Once the player is dead the person who is the criminal rotates, so everyone gets a go. Any comments would be nice and sorry if this has already been posted. -cheers. Link to comment

The Player's car would be slightly faster, but the Police would be able to see him and have the numbers. I'd make it so that the cops can have the faster vehicles and the criminal to have more weapons. The reason so is that if your playing as the criminal, you can either bail from your vehicle and start a fight with the weapons you have stocked and try to shoot of the coming police that are chasing you. The cops on the other hand can have armour and weapons that would suit their character, so if your a SWAT member you would probably have an AK47 while the cops could carry just a pistol for example. Sounds like a bit much for one person against a whole load of cops? but you could also perhaps include more criminals into the scene and more cops to make the whole scene just that little bit more sweeter. I'm sure they have plenty to be getting on with, but perhaps this is an idea they can incorperate later on when the first few versions have been released. Well, how about the criminal has faster cars and more weaponry? If there aren't enough people to be cops on the server, you can give him a 3 star wanted level just to make it a bit harder or if there are lots of cops on the server you can give him, as you suggested, gang members in cars that act like the cops do in SA but just against the cops. *Edit**yeah, or more player controlled Criminals* If a cop player dies he respawns away from the criminal kinda thing. So it's basically just survive as long as you can. Nice ideas. I'd love this thing to go ahead If not then someone please please please make a mod to make the AI better Anyways, the difficulty can be balanced out, but the criminal would have to be a skilled driver and the cops would have to use some level of teamwork. *EDIT* I keep thinking of stuff after I've posted -.- erm anyway. If you wanted to have a fire fight, you could make it so that there's say 500% of the normal health. This is devided between the amount of player controlled criminals there are. So if it's just you, you have 500% and if you have 4 criminals you all have 125% of normal health etc. Link to comment
