FPS drops

Sergiuu

Question

Hello,

Recently I'm facing strange fps drops on MTA. I tried different servers but the fps drop still persists elsewhere too. Moreover, I performed a clean uninstall, still no improvements.

I used to have constant fps around 55-60 before last days, now it seems capped around 45, with visible drops. I noticed gta_sa loads (C:\ProgramData\MTA San Andreas ALL\ 1.6\GTA San Andreas)around 38% of my CPU (AMD ryzen 5 3400G)

Other way demanding games like gta 5 runs much smoother, with no fps drops, around 65 fps. I tried San Andreaas single player but runs normal, no lag.

I have no fps limitation whatsoever set for MTA on my nvidia (gtx 1660) control panel. I would appreciate your support and solutions. Thanks

Hello 👋, I would like to ask a few questions for your problem, first of all, if you are experiencing this problem only on a single server (if so, there is probably an FPS limit on that server) if you are experiencing this on all servers, first check your FPS limit on the client side, then check if all your drivers are up to date, then I recommend cleaning your computer, you can start by destroying junk files, other server files in the mods section in the MTA file location may be too much, you can delete the files here.

Hello, thanks for answering,

I experienced that fps drop, I feels like a limitation, as i tried on lowest resolution but fps wasn't any higher. I keep my drivers up to date. What do you mean on client side?

i tried singel player gta sa but, it runs fine.
