Brophy Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 dont post 3 threads, you have one already open, if you need to edit a post, press EDIT not new topic If your mta client is freezing when you try to load it, add DontGetLatest=1 under [Main] , this file is located in the Multi Theft Auto folder, where ever you have installed it IF you dont have it, create one and put inside it [Main] DontGetLatest=1
Guest Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 But i dont have any scripts in the mta file..........
Jani Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Open mta.ini in Notepad. Where it says [Main] put DontGetLatest=1 underneath so it looks like this: [Main]DontGetLatest=1 Then save and close it and run MTA again. As far as I know the file is installed in C:\Program Files\Multi Theft Auto
Guest Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 In the mta file isnt there any other scriptz or something?? Can u please juz upload ur mtz.ini scriptz (not the file juz the text in there) Thanx TFTSeeker
CoZ Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 if its not there - and you need to make a file and asuming you have file extentions invisible etc (default in xp to protect the computer noobs ) try this ps .. = ram big key on keyboard called enter .. do not type it press start press run type: cmd press ok - you get black screen type: cd\destination folder\sub\sub\etc\ .. so in this case could be type: C:\Program Files\Multi Theft Auto type: edit type: text .. so in this case could be type: [Main] type: DontGetLatest=1 press alt (or click file) press down arrow untill your on the 'save as' and press (or click) type: filename.extension .. so in this case could be type: mta.ini press alt (or click file) press down arrow untill your on the 'quit' and press (or click) and voila .. you made your first file the 'oh so old' (windows simulated) ms-dos way you know ..the thing before windows .. - oh .. nvm
lil Toady Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 i think he was on about mtama scripts.. (there is a mta.ini in mtama too) But you need to write scripts not in the mta.ini file tho
Brophy Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Tbh tho, if we wants either file back again, he can reinstall MTA / mtama
