Riot Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 The GTA Restore program isn't working for me. "The Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." Im running Windows XP Professional.

Guest Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 In the \mta\ folder there are 6 files. american.mta american.sp - main.mta main.sp - ped.mta ped.sp The .sp files are the files that are copied back to GTA when you choose GTA3 Sp, however, if the launcher copies the files from GTA (Before they are replaced with .mta files) when the .mta files already excists in GTA the original files are lost The original files are: american.gxt main.scm ped.ifp So if you don't want to reinstall GTA, just get these original files:) Maybe someone would put them on the web somewhere:P
Riot Posted June 6, 2003 Author Posted June 6, 2003 Well i found that error, I installed the .NET framework and that error went away now i get "CLR Error: 80004005" and those files I can post on the web in a few minutes.

Riot Posted June 6, 2003 Author Posted June 6, 2003 http://gta.gwdn.org/mta/restore.zip Just extract it to your GTAIII directory and it will replace the required files. It replaces: anim/ped.ifp data/main.scm TEXT/american.gtx as stated a few posts above.
