Some ideas

Ok I had some ideas written down at work, I was thinking how good a game like this would be and thought I better write it down ..

1. Live radio, using shoutcast ?

2. Ability to make groups for a laugh(each member is highlighted?), and join Gangs and maybe get a free suit, take over busines's, rob banks, buy places for your gang to run it for cash etc..

3. Work for the police ?

That's all for now, I done a search and didn't find any of these

1. It doesn't have to run on the same server.

You would not need bots for 2 or 3, It would be the people online who made groups, and the online people who formed gangs to run the city and work for the police.

Streaming radio ideas have been around since early gta3:mta versions, both playing it over the built-in mp3 player and servers-own custom stations have been suggested.

Groups, teams, gangs etc have been a part of mta since its inception and with the up-coming customisability and scriptability (with C++) of future versions we should see much more indepth and advanced forms such as those your suggestion touches on.

Ditto for things for the police to do (if thats what you meant by 'work for the police')

If you meant to be able to be part of the police force then the same applies
