gta_sa.exe

I know many people have already posted about this...but I still couldn't find a solution.

I'm missing the gta_sa.exe file. If anyone has that file, or knows where/how to get it, I'd appriciate it.

How can you be missing it? It's one of the most important files for the game. Reinstall and it should be there.

Make sure you actually have GTA:San Andreas, the game...

When I click multi theft auto.exe "Browse for Folder" pops up. Then I click the folder where I installed MTA and it then says "could not Find gta_sa.exe at the path you have selected. Choose Another folder?"

I even scanned my computer for the file..not there.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I did. What site did you go to to Intall it?

Does the game HAVE to be installed under "program files"?...I installed under a different file, one I made.

If you got GTA San Andreas installed, install mta and direct it to the GTA San Andreas folder, where you installed it.

Ok, never mind...i got the wrong impression of MTA...i was thinking that everything was already in the damn download....sorry guys.

Yea np, it's a mod for San Andreas so you need the actual game to play it.

You have to select the GTA folder, not the MTA folder.

He doesn't even have GTASA...

You have to bear in mind that there's a very small selection of people who find a mod for a game and think that they can download the mod and play it without the game actually installed.
