KillerDog
Any chance the clever developers can add a MTA:SA progression meter, just so we can see how far its off some sort of completion.I know you can put a time on this sort of thing. You did it was Gta and Vice, so maybe its possible with SA. zerb
If im correct the problem is they wouldnt know the exact pertcentage of how far the mod is into completion or how far its away from its release, thats one of the reasons the previous bars were removed. The blog is therefore more efficent for the progression. Link to comment
KillerDog
Good point. I know they dont know when it will be ready for public release. All they can do is plod on until its sort of ready Link to comment
Harry
Well, as a progress meter implicates the time left it will create some expectations. If something fails or breaks, or a huge bug is detected the bar should drop. That way it wont be of any use. My suggestion is a binary progress meter. At this moment the progress is: 0 (NOT finished yet) Later on it might change to 1 if its finished. Link to comment
eAi
We used to have a progress bar but we dropped it during the development of 0.5. Although it gave people something to talk about, its accuracy was so limited that it was meaningless. Reading the blog is the best way to get an idea of how we're doing. Link to comment
finn_bryant
Except that everyone on the team always say its amazing and make it sound finished, of course, people who waited for race have learned to take that with a pinch of salt, but new people will think its practically finished. Link to comment
