Guest
I have been playing GTA: MTA for about 2 days now and now I can't even play single player. On the menu in the game where you can load and delet games, where there use to be an option to start a new game, it says Start MTA. I try to load a game but I get an error and my game crashes. I have tried every shortcut and actual .exe file to start the game and it still has the start MTA thing there. I need help! Link to comment
Riot
Use the launcher to choose "GTA3 SP" if that doesn't work i'll post a link to my fix after i get it running right. Link to comment
Riot
http://gta.gwdn.org/mta/data.zip Extract that to your data/ directory *MAKE A BACKUP FIRST* See if that fixes it *Note: It will still say Start Multi Theft Auto, but it should run fine* If it doesn't work, uninstall MTA, uninstall GTA, and reinstall GTA (saved data shouldn't be removed. Mine wasn't) Link to comment
xerox
saved data and replays should be kept as is considering the save files etc are kept in a folder in my documents (dont ask me why r* wanted them there =) Link to comment
Riot
R* was probably thinking of the fact that people modding the game would call for many reinstalls Link to comment
