βurak
hello, I painted this object with vertex painting, but when the players walk on this object and take a jetpack, the light changes, and it also changes at different camera angles. What is the reason for this? Edited February 9, 2022 by Burak5312 Link to comment
Administrators Tut Posted February 9, 2022 Administrators Share Posted February 9, 2022 Hey @Burak5312, it will help to know which exporter you are using. A universal fix for all exporters is to set the material diffuse color as full white. Some materials are created with a light grey diffuse color which causes this issue. Some exporters has an export setting to prevent this issue 1 Link to comment

Administrators Tut Posted February 9, 2022 Administrators Share Posted February 9, 2022 Thanks. If you want your material diffuse color to be non-white, you will need to disabling the 'Light flag' export setting. When the light flag is disabled, the model's vertex colors won't receive lighting from weathers, so for example if the weather is sunny it won't become more orange. With light flag disabled, it also removes some level of brightness from the model as shown in the picture below. The values are taken from vertexpaint modifier and show Day/Night colors. 1 Link to comment
