Selective
Hi @Tut I want to create a reflection for the model I maked. How can I do this, for example, for the columns of this object? Can you advise what make it look better? Link to comment

Administrators Tut Posted September 17, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 17, 2021 Sorry I don't understand your question - are you asking how reflections work or how to improve the shading of your model? Link to comment
Selective
Shadow was a topic for him. The question is, can I polish my column? Link to comment
Administrators Tut Posted September 17, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 17, 2021 You could try adding a texture into the environment channel in your material. As seen on vehicles, they sometimes have fake chrome metallic reflections. Section 7 on this thread will help you do so. Link to comment

In your case, instead of clicking the planar projection, click the Cyllindral projection mode or whichever makes it easier for your case. Alternatively for your case you could simply apply an Unwrap UVW modifier, and at Map Channel choose 2 and on the options choose Move instead of Abandon. This moves the object's existing UV mapping into UV channel 2. This might work out better for you. It's also possible to use the UVW Map modifier to quickly unwrap your UVs. 1 1 Link to comment

If you're unable to locate this setting, please create a GTA Material instead of Standard material, and in there you will find settings for your env map. Link to comment
