mta wont start

when i click mta nothing happens. the first time the welcome box came up i clicked ok and nothing happens. now when i click mta on my desktop nothing happens. i tryed reinstalling it and redownloading it i have gta version 1.0 i think im now sure

Did you even put a server ip/port in the correct boxes then hit "Connect"?

yes i put in the IP but it still isnt working and ive reinstalled mta but it wont work
