MTASA (Race): Voting Folders

Since there are so many maps out there, I would like to see something like folders implemented with voting.

I was thinking like a config file under the \maps folder to store the folder information. This can be optional for anyone.

Example:

Cars (Folder)

>Wu Zi Mu (Map)

>Fast Lane (Map)

Bikes (Folder)

>Bike Racing (Map)

>Biking Blast (Map)

Cops & Robbers (Folder)

>Crime Andreas (Map)

>Los Santos (Map)

You want folders with all the races on the server available to voters? Or have it choose a select few from each category?

The first vote is the category (Cars, Bikes, Cops & Robbers, etc..) then a subvote comes after that (If you picked the Cars category, Wu Zi Mu and Fast Lane will be available to choose).

that idea is PERFECT. it allows the server operator to classify what maps are under which category. then the MTA guys change the interface to either allow random maps, or some type of folder view..

map selection needs to be based on what the server operator wants, not what the game is hardcoded to do

The problem is there will be too many maps to vote for and everyone will choose a different one. You'll have to keep re-voting until there's a match.
