Guest
I've been looking around and learned that it probably has something to do with my ports, but I cannot see the serverlist. Well, kind of. I go into MTA and refresh. It says scans the servers, then, after a few seconds, just says "Idle" at the bottom. What's weird is this is only during the day. At night I can see servers just fine. I've forwarded my ports (22003 to 22126 on both TCP/UDP) and I don't have any firewalls up. Any idea of how to fix this? Link to comment
Leviathan
there's no need to forward ports in your router if you don't run servers... you can close them... you can try usin the All Seeing Eye, it is an outgame server browser for a lot of games, including MTA. or join servers with quick links. like on http://game-monitor.com Link to comment
Si|ent
It says scans the servers, then, after a few seconds, just says "Idle" at the bottom. I get this almost all of the time too, in fact that in combination with the server I used to use all the time going downhill (crap maps and vote spamming) means I rarely play now. I don't think anyone really knows why ithe serverlist does this. Initially it seemed to be a fault with ASE being down, but that doesnt explain it continuing to be an issue now. I've not noticed it being different at different times of the day, I'll look into that. p.s. game-monitor isn't really a full alternative until it has some kind of basic ping representation.
