You'll first of all want to make sure that the object (e.g a house) is set to doublesided. This means the object is visible from both outside and inside. From there you can add walls, floor, ceiling and decorate the inside of the house using the MTA map editor. Disabling doublesided flag is recommended to keep client performance moderate, so try make sure to cover up the house's inside with walls and floors/ceiling to then not have holes inside. Ensuring that every wall, ceiling and floor is filled out, you can disable the doublesided flag again. You may have to use markers for entrances if the building doesn't have empty space for a door to be mapped onto (in other words, if the object isn't designed for open-world interiors).
