Guest Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Some customers ask if we could host this game so I looked into it. Settng up server is not that difficult but I cannot find any commando lines for start up. How do I set the IP address of the server? Our servers run multiple IP's, I do not wish to run this game on the first IP and I wish to assign an IP to this game, how do I do this? Are there any tutorials how to runs a decent server as a service with startup commando line (so settings in the startup and not in the config file)

Guest Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Then we cannot host this game (I work for a gamehost) On the main IP address of the server may not run any games, this is how our servers are setup. Very stupid for a dedicated server package that you cannot specify any IP's, alsmost all "real" servers run multiple IP's. This way it is also not possible to run more are 1 game on a server if you wish to use default ports only. I am disapointed in this release
