Is the server running on PC that you're using? If so, use localhost as the IP address, not your Internet IP. Also, you need to put a nickname in the username box, it doesn't matter what you put as long as you put something.

What does it show on the server console (the dos window)? Does it show the server has started up properly, or if there's been any admin connect attempts? Paste a screenshot of that after you've tried connecting to it, please.

changed it and it still doesnt work

you did change, save then restart the server didnt you?

remember to use localhost or 127.0.0.1 has the IP to connect
