finn_bryant Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 It would be nice if you could make a lan mode (like ut04) that requires more bandwidth and lower pings but is far better as far as lag is concerned. I think it would be easy wouldn't it? Just a thought.

finn_bryant Posted February 7, 2006 Author Posted February 7, 2006 Lag would be reduced by loads, and that would mean better collisions too. plus, more things could be synced like rockets, (possibly even) peds (would need lots and lots of of work to sync each thing though, so this is just 'in theory') maybe syncing is something for the SDK but a simple low lag mode would be brilliant none the less.
