Checkpoint question.

Is there a limit to how many checkpoints can be on the same spot? I have made a multi-lap race and although it tests fine with the editors 'test race' it won't load in the server due to 'errors'.

there shouldn't be a limit, not that i'm aware of anyway

just ctrl+F9 to clone on top, and it shouldn't produce any error

i found that problems are most common with spawnpoints

deleting all spawnpoints but one will help you narrow it down

There shouldn't be a problem with that. I remember that whilst MTA:SA was in QA, ChrML asked me to make a map with 256 spawns in one spot for testing purposes. It didn't crash.

A common problem that causes "errors in the map" is that the rotation is set to 360 instead of 0 (map editor bug).

Looks like it may have been a problem with Jani's (linux) server at the time, it loaded fine on my local win32 server and later on Janis for the SARL warmup. Not sure why it errored initially, odd.

Aeron created a king of the hill map which required players to stay in the middle of the areana for as long as possible.

This was done by creating 200cps(or the limit of the server, not sure exactly) very small cps in the centre (an identical position) and players had to ram each other out of the way to reach it. Whoever could stay long enough to register all 200cps wins.
