Player Model Changing

i know the current version of MTA doesnt have deathmatch just yet, however, i thought when this was implemented, (i am understanding the player can choose their player model from the various pedestrians in the game?) well if not, under the option menu where one defines their MTA name, there should be a 3D preview window where you can scroll through the many Pedestrians of SA, aswell as be able to have a customised CJ. but you say "dah, like everyones thought about this", well i was thinking, if it wernt to hard, much to the same way the maps are made, one could use Custom pedestrians, becuase ive already converted all the GTA3 and Vice City gangs for my playing of Single Player, would it be possible for players to load their custom player models onto a server that loads them to everyone else as they meet your character.

and if not a server that everyone can upload onto, but certain models included with the deathmatch realese(i mean who doesnt want to be Leone Family Mafia)

i think that would just boost the great little details of the game

I'm not sure if modding would be possible in the first release, for the first release your most likely to be restricted to unmodded files. Once the SDK is finished it will be possible

what could possibly be done, now i dont know if it works the same way, but in the GTA: SA you can ADD pedestrians, becuase there are extra spaces in the peds.ide, perhaps the MTA:SA team could have these slots filled out with i dunno, Cus1, cus1......... so u add a txd and DFF to your GTA3.img, and it shows up on your screen at least.

but if its possible for one to be able to see your character, that would be heaps good.

if it happens at all, it doesent really matter the timing. if something like my idea were implimented, im sure the masses would be pleased

Thats a good idea, im sure they or someone else will manage to workout something with customisable player models with blue, infact i think they mentioned it before when they were working on VC.

But yeah, i doubt they'll bother to go all out with mods on the 1st dm release.
