Guest
Well I found out what was causing my problem anyway, it was the driver for my PS2 -> USB controller adaptor, I have to turn it over into compatibility mode or I crash on starting GTA which bombs MTA out. Link to comment

Ryan_
Well, I get this error too, howerver until now it was intermittent. Now, I can't play at all!! Before a reboot would fix the issue, now nothing seems to fix it. Edit: Problem solved by deleting the gta_sa.set file in the user files folder and regonfiguring in SP mode. Edit 2: Feb.19, probably should have bumped..... Well, it happened again....And deleting the gta_sa.set file fixed the problem again! If i then put that gta_sa.set file back in error comes back. So, it is definitly causing my problems. Question is, how does my gta_sa.set file become curropt? Link to comment

Guest
Me too When I start MTA:SA, it asks me for my GTA San Andreas folder, then my MTA:SA folder, shown a small splash screen after that, and after a short while, shows this error (while the splash screen is still there): Link to comment
