Port 2126 must be accessable from the internet. this is the server .... as you can see its on port 2003. i have a single crossover lan cable connecting two laptops same domain as we can both access files on each others machine. so communication is not the problem the lan is not the problem the ip is not the ptoblem the port is not the problem i can put in "localhost" @ port "2003" and connect but i cant put in"laptop2" @ port "2003" or "200.200.200.203" @ port 2003 and connect any ideas??? Guest Posted January 18, 2006 Share Posted January 18, 2006 as soon as i type "laptop2" and port 2003 i get cannot connect and all that, keeps timing out on me the only way i can connect is if i type"localhost" but that not much help if i'm trying to connect to another machine any ideas???
