scarface1994, let me tell you a couple of things:
1) Rockstar cannot do anything about MTA, because MTA does not make profit and does not receive donations for it's mods.
2) PLEASE use a period more often, I'm not saying this to be a jerk, it's just difficult to read your posts
3) So, let's say MTA or Rockstar did make a super-synched GTA4, unless they add scripting or SOMETHING, ANYTHING, nobody will give a fuck.
dont take me wrong i would love a mta mod for Iv, having the ability to create a server of my own with gamemodes of my choice4) I'm glad you see the potential if MTA did work on GTA4.
If they do it, I have a good feeling it will rock everyone's socks off. -

In reality it looks like Georgia made their initial attack and Russia overreacted to it. This brings up speculations of Russia's motivation to stay as long as they did, since it didn't seem like "self defense" anymore. By the time Russia said "The aggressor has been punished" it seemed like overkill. Also people were wondering why when Russia told their armies to leave, it seemed like there was unnecessary delay, I mean, people could understand if they were on the other side of the globe but they are neighbors. The delay wasn't that bad, but the fact that it was noticeable made some people upset.
Sorry it took so long to respond, I have been busy with work, and I had time to read it but that's it.

Well I was just thinking wouldn't it be easier just to make all the players into zombies (with the proper model and animations [i like the drunk one, suggested earlier]), all except 1 player who is trying to survive? Similar to the manhunt gamemodes we used to do, except only one man has a gun and the rest are just zombies, maybe a melee weapon or two.

I'm no expert, but logic suggests that hooking into an existing system would be easier than making one from scratch.
See, that is what I was anticipating that the MTA team would do; "Hook" into GTA4's already existing multiplayer, and enhance features (like synch) and/or add features (like scripting!!!).

Whatever, we all know Russia just wants Georgia's oil lines, and Georgia is trying to defend them. Of course Georgia is going (to at least try) to attack Russia for pulling that crap. Anyways, if Russia was performing "self defense" they wouldn't be attacking this little country over and over, and increasing presence like they are. It's funny how Russia makes itself seem "hurt" by Georgia's attacks, even though the deaths were serious, simultaneously it doesn't mean Russia's overall fate is at the hands of Georgia. I like all the propaganda though.
I like Russians, but please don't feed me anymore one sided garbage. If I want that, I'll just read the Georgian, Russian, and American news...

This computer right here had a few upgrades. Starting with 2.4 GHz single unthreaded CPU, 256 MB RAM, and Intel Extreme Graphics onboard (they are about as extreme as shitting out a phone book.) This didn't work anyways because we had to go out and get a DVD drive just to install San Andreas. Ran like poop, so then we put 1GB Mushkin ram in there. That helped alot. Then we put a GeForce FX5500 PCI in there, that helped alot too. The problem is that you still can't play San Andreas great unless you turn the settings down to "Low". Oh well, at least I can play my Combat Arms.

Not quite, but with modifications maybe. Remember that new games means new features, NPCs, models, cars, etc, which all may have different names and locations within the engine's archives. So, not quite.
however GTA4 mp has ped/traffic syncing? mta needs to learn from this...Huh? They have already considered ped/traffic synching, and possible methods to make it work, but the problem is TIME. Since GTA is closed-source, synching up all that would be a big pain in the ass.

Well my friends and I were hoping that the MTA team would step in again when GTA4 hits the scene. We were thinking that they would enhance the already present multiplayer. For you see, since most of the synch work is already done, it might take less time to add features such as scripting gamemodes, synch improvements, etc. Well, that's what we were hoping for. The problem is that MTA:SA will still need support for some time after GTA4 is released, since not all players can handle GTA4's new requirements and/or price. Also there is the die-hards, of course.

A lot of people wanted to financially support the MTA team for all their efforts (including me), but unfortunately, they are not able to do so under United States law, which prohibits them from receiving money from their modification of San Andreas. Sucks, I know
