  1. You know something BrophY , that was my opinion. And all you could do with your mild un-educated mind was tell me to STFU, you ignorant little piss of monkeyjuice. Ban me, i dont care, people like me keep your worthless forum alive. Basically im saying that when GTA4 will be played alot more than MTA SA, due to the multiplay offerings. I wont be comming back online anywayz, GTA4 is out in 4 weeksw, this forum will die pretty qik then. Cya........ :tard:

    Hahahaha what a noob.

Hey KillerDog, the (now previously) unwritten rule of any written argument is that: When you start insulting someone's intelligence, always make sure you don't look like a COMPLETE ASS by not minding your own grammar. Since you are so educated (obviously), I suppose you already knew that.

    P.S. to KillerDawg: lol b&

then i guess your calling KYE a lier =/

    Liar and a traitor I guess... :P

guys its not nice everyone has their problems =/

True, while simultaneously it's not our responsibility to deal with them. This is the Internet. If you got problems, keep them off the Internet, unless you're going to an online support group. In such a case it would prove somewhat beneficial, but in the case of managing a dev team, not so beneficial. See what I'm trying to say?

  2. Yeah, I play all of them still. Even GTA2, and I'll still play it when GTA4 comes out (and buy it). About the dev teams though, there are advantages and disadvantages to having two multiplayer mods to choose from. Some advantages are variety and competition. The disadvantages are that since the teams are separate, they cannot easily share engine-related ideas/development (due to possible incompatibilities). Also remember that more people doesn't always mean faster work. The more heads you put together, the greater chances that disagreements will occur, which would actually hinder the development process.

    P.S. : BrophY is a nub.

  3. I get a similar problem with my MTA server. All default maps work just fine. Any custom resources never reach my clients (including me, if I don't install them manually into my MTA install). Ports & Firewall are all good, so I don't know what the problem is. I tried contacting some people over IRC, but they didn't know what to do either. I messed around all day with packet sizes too, with no avail.

  4. In ... VC there are no planes/choppers/bikes

In VC, there always was those things. That was one of the things that made VC stand out over its predecessor.

In LC and VC there are no planes/choppers/bikes but mta converted them from sa,

Wrong, the MTA team never converted anything from SA into GTA3 or Vice City for it's multiplayer releases.

Well its not my fault if im not a great fan about those two games

Yes it is. You should do a little research before posting. Wikipedia will tell you all about the series, and the features gained and lost as the series progressed.

some stuff were really converted, and im just trying to say that it should be possible, im sure some one will make a mod :)

No, some stuff was not converted, I know you want there to be such things, because it would be pretty cool, but the truth is all these games you're talking about are closed source. This means that you cannot open them up and look inside to see how they work, rather, you need to sit there and find all the memory addresses so that you can hack into them, to get a preferred result. Fun. There's a little more to it than that, but that's just an example.

  5. WOW Alot of talk about this.

My personal opinion: MTA will continue development with GTA SA. They wont even try to touch GTAIV.

No, I'm guessing MTA will at least give it a shot, I mean, they did before. Just look at GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas, what's gonna stop them from this next big release? Especially if Rockstar screws it up, people are gonna start looking for mods to improve their GTA4 online experience.

  6. Umm, just wondering, you guys are playing GTA Rumble for nostalgic / novelty purposes right? For some reason it's fun to play with unfinished software, especially when it's multiplayer. Mainly because it brings something new every time. Kindof interesting and humorous to see the result of trying to preform basic tasks. I know some might think this post is trying to be sarcastic, but it's not because you'd laugh your ass off too if you saw a bunch of CJ's skating around Grove Street wearing pants and a biker helmet, all trying to hijack the same car or driving (glitchly) go karts.
