  1. maybe I have some problems with the texture, but the collision work, I take 2 houres to find the good setting and now its work mwoua ha ha ha !
  2. The problem with kams script is when I modifie the texture coordinates to apply correctly the texture to the model, I have the correctly applied texture result in 3ds max, but nothing have change in the game why ?
  3. LOL ! A paint texture I guest, if you retexture gta sa with that its could be very weird Nice work you do it in a short period of time, for me I have made one model with the colision, but I need to test it, a custom model isnt just the texture is the texture + the shape

That is what me I do for custom texture only, First find the name of the object with the specific color you want in the MTA editor, not the complete name just the basic (example, me I want to change the object with the name billboard_lv03, I just take the name billboard to find the TXD archive of the billboards in gta) after use img tool to open the gta3.img in you gta sa folder and find the name of your object, make sure its a .txd file and exporte it, open it with TXD workshop and find your texture, export it, do the same with your object you want to change the color, but in the TXD workshop find the texture you want to change and import your specifi color to replace it. I dont remember the place where the gta3.img is, just find it with the windows search Tell if you want more information

A lot of people want to handle the new way of MTA with custom texture or model, isnt a color, is a custom texture, the tool is TXD workshop, you can find it by typing in google download TXD workshop But you know is long to made good texture, so you use TXD workshop to change a texture in san andreas by a picture of your choice, like your face LOL ! I try it

Im a good modeler with maya, but I cant convert my maya to 3ds max, I try with milkshape and after to convert it in zmodeler and after into a .dff , but im not sure if the .col are include in the .dff of zmodeler and with milkshape the model dont appear so I need 3ds max and the kams script, easy, but to work with 3ds max, I need a lot of time. Another question, 3ds max + kams script can give the texture of my model into a .txd file ? When you make a model, you have to apply the texture correctly on it so if I made a model + texture in 3ds max, thats could be bad if I d'ont have my .txd texture, if not, if I just have the .dff and .col I will convert my texture into a .txd with txd workshop, but the texture can be aplly badly on the model Maybe I can exporte the texture with 3ds max perfeclty apply on the model into an image like .png , .bmp ... and convert it after into a .txd ?
  7. ok you are very speedy for the replie, I have zmodeler 2.0.8 , autodesk maya for the modeling and yes I have TXD workshop for the texture archive. Zmodeler can creat a .dff + a .txd file of the model ? kams script can make a .col file with a .dff file (shape of the model) or I need to build the shape of the model in kams script ?

Someone know an editor to make custom model with the texture and export it into the MTA engine, export it with the .dff of the model, the . txd of the model and the .col of the model I d'ont know the tools johnline (one of the custom model mapper of MTA) use, but its look to work fine.     Puma, I think you have competition, I see the best video of custom race on the mod DB MTA page, the name is custom model and the guy having made the video use enb serie (enb serie = a better gta look I use it and its wonderful), I dont know the name of the server, but I really want to know it !     very nice semeone combine script and map, me to I do that, but I have to work on custom texture/models, I just can change the texture with the TXD workshop for now, keep the work rarely I see this on MTA

    RCG Problem

    look the rcg topic, but the real solution is to start the map editor in your MTA server.exe just type in the black screen of the server type : start editor type : start rcg16 or rcg (depend of your version of rcg) when you type start is a command to start a resource , type start (here the name of your resource)
  13. I change the texture in one of my map in MTA with a script attached with the meta.XML what I like to do in MTA 1.03 and its work ok I dont use photoshop, you can see its a paint image ! The problem is I dont know the ID number for each TXD files in gta sa and I just find some in a MTA web server, now I can change the explosive barrel, some ramp and the DD roof, DD roof like in the pictures. I d'ont really understand this part in the script : engineImportTXD(txd, 1631) engineImportTXD(txd, 1632) engineImportTXD(txd, 1633) engineImportTXD(txd, 1634) engineImportTXD(txd, 1655) engineImportTXD(txd2, 1218) engineImportTXD(txd2, 1225) engineImportTXD(txd3, 3458) end what these number mean 1631,1632,1633,1634,1655,1218,1225,3458 how can I know the exact texture is rattached to them? I cant see a number like that in the gta3.img with the imgtool on a TXD file. (TXD file in the gta3.img)
  14. anoying thing with the scripts, error : Error downloading requested files. HTTP response code said error and no is not a HTTP problem, because just one map have this error, many of my maps have scripts and I can download it and of course is my map made with the new map editor for MTA DM 1.03, im not sure if the problem is on my map file or the meta.xml, but is not a HTTP connection problem, I start a server and I connect to it with the computer who host the server to test my flood map and strangely I begin to download the files and the error appear . I go in MTA San Andreas\mods\deathmatch\resources\my map to see if the scripts have been downloaded and yes they are there, but they are corrupt, because the download have stop. I dont understand ? Please help I spend 3 houres ! Meta.XML of the map : In my map folder of course I have all of these script and the flood is a resource my map : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
  15. Yo ! its me, today the question is about a drunk Cj in MTA race 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, I see sometimes in MTA race 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 a Cj who can smook and drink alcool when he drive , but I never see that in MTA 1.x, someone know a mod to do that in MTA 1.x ?
  16. Im now on MTA DM 1.03 and I very like it because I can customize what I want in the resources, but not the vehiclecolors.conf, when I modify the settings nothing change in my local server game. I take a custom vehiclecolors.conf from my old MTA sa race and put it correctly in MTA DM 1.03 and nothing change. Other have the same problem ? Its not a big problem for me, Im just curious to know if other have this problem. !!!Keep growing MTA team, MTA IV is coming lol!!!

We dont have in MTA DM (race mod) servers all the good maps we find in MTA race 1.1.2, I make a video with some of these maps in the new MTA DM 1.01 and its very nice , because the big difference between MTA race 1.1.2 and MTA DM is the possibility to make ressource with scripts in MTA DM.   18. For milky and other who have the problem , child element disapear , just delete the control point lines and the track lines in your .map file, lol rcg with the magnetwheels !!!!

Im working on a race local server and I dont know all of the config in the xml in the race map folder, I know I can start resource in the server.conf , but I want to start and stop a resource automaticly, I want when a specifique race map is start in the server, I want start a specifique resource automaticly at the same time and when the race is finish , the ressource stop. I try something , but when the specifique resource start , the race resouce stop, I dont know why, my XMl look like that : The specifique resource is : map-rainbowroad Please ! I wait for the answeres

I have some very nice custom objects maps and I think thats is one of the best thing in MTA DM, but I cant see them when I am in the server with race resource and I think the original race resource cannot launch a .lua map file and the map need the race resource to work in 1.0, a special race resource exist for that kind of great maps in .lua and not in .map ? Or do I need to change something to make them work ? Please I need help and that can be good for other , cause these map look very awesome ! Thanks for answering

I see a fun thing on a video about the map editor of MTA DM, Is the byke going everywhere on the walls and top, like a script , a resource about the gravity of the game, I see that too on the hidden custom map wipeout 5. I want to make a server to share my 250 very good maps with 40-60fps , MTA for me=a lot of objects to make something very interessting I have a map 1.66 MO is very big my questions is if my server cant work on the internet , because I open ports and configure my firewall , but my damnt routor is a box !!! and my modem is a box too !!!!!!, where can I upload my maps on a good server and the other quetion is where is the ressource for the anti gravity like climb on the bulding , climb on a vertical object ?

I want to make a local MTA DM race ressource server or if its better an internet server,I have installed the MTA 2.3 and the last ressources, but the server dont work, the screen is black I just can see the avatar of the race, the ressources are installed in the good folder, the server work only with the old version of MTA DM 1.0 and not the 2.3 why ? It is normal ?
