Nice rig brophy, Ransom, top of the line would be something like this - Dual Core Opteron/Athlon X2 or Dual Opterons + Dual Board) Dual Channel RAM (Corsair, OCZ, Geil, Crucial Labs) 2x 6800 Ultra's in SLI 4x WD 10,000rpm Raptors in RAID 600Watt+ Antec, Enermax, Thermaltake. P4 isnt top of the line at all, even the new dual core pentium is nothing but 2 prescotts slapped together and starved of bandwidth by sharing the same bus. I will never afford a Top of the Line setup and i seriously doubt many of us here would EDIT - no offence to P4 owners ment at all

Fresh install of windows, I havent played MTA in about 2 months. After installing VC, playing it once, installing MTA - When i join a server and attempt to start game the "Run Game" box opens and i have to browse to the GTA-VC.EXE file and execute it. However once the run game box opens and i attempt to browse to VC as soon as i click anything in the box it freezes, MTA runs at 100% and i have to end it in taskmanager. Ive never encountered a problem like this since my time in MTA (since near the beggining) Ive tried reinstalling VC, MTA and re-downloaded MTA ect.. This isnt a VC problem as it happens before i even exe it, its I doubt its my PC as I dont have any problems at all with other games, I can only assume its MTA. Also, when I join a server, if i left click in the chatbox to paste it freezes MTA and again it runs 100% n i have to end it. My system specs - Athlon 64 3200+ (90nm) @ 2.4ghz 2x 512 DDR400 (generic) @ 200mhz (using mem divider) GA-K8NS Ultra 939 WD Raptor 36gb 10k (if i could OC it i would ) Galaxy Glacier 6800 Ultra @ 1.18ghz 2.2mb connection (this comp is running on gigabit network through another comp which has the modem, ICS) This have the same probs without the overclocks, however my system is P95 100% stable with them anyway. Anyways, I really miss playing MTA and I'd love to start playing it again so if anyone can help me out here I'd be grateful. -Damo- (AKA Smog)

Was in a server, i wont say which one i aint starting owt. People were boosting in a deathmatch server n flying, going up ramps that werent there, people wouldnt die... whats going on ? lol

The games free n u guys work hard to make it happen and for that we are very grateful but this release of MTA was massively dissapointing. I know u made minor changes to the game to make it better for us but i found Deathmatch completely unplayable. - Taking the jump away from the stubby ?? come on its not like it weighs a ton, plus u decreased the damage it deals, jesus christ its a stubby shotgun not a water pistol ffs. Your trying to balance the gameplay but thats takin it abit to far, either remove the stubby or give it its juice back? - Decreasing M60 damage ? During my whole time on MTA ive never found the M60 to be a real problem., but thats just me. - Laggers..... well, like Scar said, ub3r lagzors now. However i cant stand Stunt mode but i was kicking ass with my buggy 2day and it rocked ! The stunt side is great ! well done guys u've deffo made up for it there I dont bitch much about the little thing but they r all piling up here into a real problem, the deathmatch side of this release is terrible, the worst yet. But like i said earlier, these changes were made in OUR best interest. Maybe its just me but ive been playing MTA for a long time and i cant handle the difference in the gameplay with this release, it doesnt even feel like MTA anymore. God i miss whoopin ass at Prawn Island ! Right enough moaning, great work with the Stunting side guys its great. I hope Deathmatch gets sorted. -Damo-

Hi, im on broadband, Athlon 2400+ XP Pro 256 DDR RAM and a 128 Mb FX 5200 graphics card... my problems is every server i go into i cant hurt people by shooting them, i can run em over fine, but when i shoot people on their screen they say im missing them but i'll be stodd right infront of them blasting them to peices... im up to date with windows update, ive recently even formatted my pc and reinstalled VC.... i dont have a clue what the problem is but if anyone could help i'd be grateful
